My Goals for September

My Goals for September

We are already in September, which means only 3 months until CHRISTMAS! I love Christmas and honestly, I can’t wait. However back to the current moment in time, August went by in a flash. I felt like it was one of the quickest months of the year for me. I feel like I accomplished quite a lot though, but there is definitely room for improvement.

I started doing these monthly goals last month, so just to recap on how my August Goals went: I did finish a book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! I am actually trying to finish the Witcher book series. If you love the games or the Netflix TV show, you will absolutely love the books. I love reading and I am going to continue to read a book as a goal for each and every month going forward!

On to my second goal for August, which was to exercise twice a week. I was successful some weeks. One week I didn’t do any (oops!) and another week I exercised once. Getting my room ready to paint on the other hand was completely unsuccessful. Although I made more effort on getting my little bathroom ready to paint.

Overall, I was happy with how I did and will be sure to carry over these tasks into September. Onto the next month!

My TOP 3 goals for September

  1. Go on 2 walks a week. This may seem really easy, but for me this is challenging. If you haven’t seen my post on What Kelly’s road to happiness means, I basically explain that I have depression and anxiety, which makes going outside challenging at the best of times. Also with everything going on in the world at the moment, it has honestly made it even more difficult. However, I do enjoy walking and playing Pokemon Go. The health benefits for your mind and body are beneficial as well. So for me this a tough goal, but I feel it’s one that is really needed.
  1. Finish 10 beauty products. To be completely honest I am always trying to finish up products ( I was guilty of buying A LOT!), However, since the start of this year, I am more focused than ever on trying to finish products up and not buying more until I need some (wish me luck 😉). I feel like we are all guilty of hoarding and sometimes not using products. So, this a great goal for less waste and clearing space.
  1. Set Pinterest up. So, this is something I have wanted to do since starting this blog. I think it can defiantly be a great source to promote blogs and other social media. My aim is to learn to create pins and use Pinterest regularly. I haven’t used it before either so this will be a fun new tool to learn.
