My Goals for December

My Goals for December

It’s December!! Which means it is officially the month of Christmas. I have mentioned before I am a big lover of all things Christmas and this year is no exception. So, the last monthly goals post I did was in September. Since then, I have been very up and down (more down if I’m being totally honest) but the last few weeks I feel a lot more stable and ready to tackle my December goals!

Looking back at how my September Goals went: my first goal was to go on two walks a week. Every Saturday I now go on a nice long walk through the local woods near me with a friend and I also try and go on a walk with my mum on a Thursday. So, I feel I gave this goal a real go and was pretty successful! I definitely feel the benefits of this one too, which is a nice bonus.

Goal two included finishing 10 beauty products as part of my ongoing yearly goal to finish up as many products as possible. I can very happily say I passed this one with flying colours and is definitely a goal I will carry on. Last but not least I had to set Pinterest up. I would say I did make a decent start on this one, but by no means are finished. I need to regularly keep it up and continue to learn the ins and out.

All in all, I’d say I did a decent job with the goals I set and will continue with all of them. Onto the last month of the year and what goals I’ve set for it!

My TOP 3 goals for December 2020

  1. My number 1 goal for this month is simply to have a great Christmas this year. It’s a simple one but I want to really appreciate it more than ever after the year we have all had. This means being thankful, remembering the ones we have lost and spending quality time with the family (and of course enjoying all the amazing food!) my sister and myself have started doing a Christmas movie night each week, which I am loving and it’s making me that much more excited. I am also planning to make all my presents this year for an extra personal touch. Whatever happens, I am determined to have a lovely Christmas, no matter how different it might be this year the meaning of it stays the same 😊
  1. Don’t stress just do! This goal is a very me goal, mainly because I stress over everything. I think this stems down to my anxiety but little things that someone else wouldn’t think twice about, I seem to go into meltdown. It’s just who I am, but I am always trying to improve on it. So, as I said earlier in the post, I had a rough couple of months and didn’t post on here or on my YouTube channel. Then when I felt I wanted to post again I got into a spiral of worry. I then remembered my whole point of this blog is to show how to carry on through depression and bad times and talking about my doubts like I just have may actually help someone. As it just shows I still go through bad times, I Just now tend to pick myself up quicker. This goal might be a bit hard to measure, but I think I’ll just be able to gauge whether I stressed a lot this month or just got on with it.
  1. Put up at least 1 blog post a week. This links slightly to my second goal as if I just don’t stress and just do, this should be achievable. Planning will probably be key to obtaining this goal, but I already have some plans for some fun blog posts in December, so I just need to get on with it!
